We stayed in this row house for just a few days back in the winter of 1989. We loved it. We had rented many vacation rentals all over England, using the listings in the AA book. Then we discovered Rural Retreats and their listings all over England. This was by far the nicest vacation rental we had in England. It is a small row house on the edge of a charming Cotswold village (Blockley). The house was very nice; well furnished and well equipped.

On our May 2000 trip, we went back to Blockley to find the cottage. It still looked very nice, on a quiet street, in a quiet town, about 10 minutes by car from Chipping Campton. There is a nice hotel with a pub and a restaurant nearby and one small food shop, but there isn't much else in the village. However you are close to many other villages and are centrally located in the Cotswolds.
