Location

Great location, steps from Sloane Square and the tube. Close to all the shops on King's Road (heaven for a fashionista) and to Chelsea, an very interesting neighborhood in London.

Nearby Amenities

There was a small, upscale grocery store nearby. Further down King's Road were an M&S with food and other food options. Lots of restaurants nearby.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was on the first (American) floor of a Victorian terrace. It had a living/dining room in front, bedroom in back overlooking private gardens. There was a little street noise in front but not annoyingly so, unless you opened the French doors to the balcony. The bedroom was very quiet.

Garden

There's a shared long garden in the back. It's very nicely landscaped and you can sit outside at a table and chairs. Also there's a front balcony overlooking the street.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

This apartment was large and well-furnished, with two large comfortable sofas. The dining table sat four. It also had a small table that could be used as a desk. And it was all very clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

There was a large, comfortable bed in the bedroom, also lots of closet space and big windows overlooking the garden. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower and tub.

Kitchen

The kitchen was slightly narrow but fully equipped, with a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, etc. A kitchen for one person at a time.

Problems or Bonuses

It was great to have a quiet outdoor space in the center of London.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Good response from the agency, A Place Like Home. Biggish deposit that I trust will be returned shortly.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

This is a great apartment in a great location. I'd recommend it highly to everybody.
