We stayed at Sansome House Cottage for a week in August of 07, and loved it so much we returned for almost two weeks last summer!

All the details are given very accurately in previous reviews, and our family of two adults and one 13 year old daughter will attest to the quality and comfort of this lovely cottage!!

The cottage is on the property with the main house, but is very private, with a wonderful private garden in the back. The location is perfect; Ilmington is a charming village, with a small village store and two pubs. There is easy access by car to the many other wonderful towns and villages in the area.

We found many beautiful walks right from our door, and really enjoyed "living" in the village of Ilmington.

We particularly enjoyed getting to know the owners of Sansome House Cottage and feel that it is their wonderful hospitality that makes this such a special place to return to again and again.
