DESCRIPTION: Private suite/bath w/parking DISTRICT: Castro John is a delightful host! Our room and bath were pleasant and private. The queen bed is comfortable, but is very soft. We enjoyed talking with John and playing with his darling little dog, Finch. There is one flight of stairs going up to John's door, and one flight of carpeted stairs going down to the private bedroom/bath. Parking is right outside the door, which is convenient for those driving a car. One bus line (#33) goes right by the house--toward 16th & Mission in one direction, and toward Golden Gate Park and UCSF medical center in the other direction. John is flexible and accommodating. He's just simply a very nice guy and we enjoyed spending some time together. We highly recommend John's lodging. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |

Our private bed/bath in this home worked out beautifully. We enjoyed our BnB host, John, and his darling tiny blonde dog--a little miracle from the SPCA.
