The Green Palm Inn is a fantastic B&B near Greene Square in Savannah. We stayed in the Sabal Palm Suite and it was wonderfully decorated and very spacious. Rates for the various rooms vary by season and are shown on the website. Staying at this B&B was more like visiting the home of a friend. We had access to the entire home including the kitchen. Breakfasts were exceptional and it was wonderful to come "home" after a day of sightseeing to snacks and wine. Diane was a very gracious hostess and made sure that our stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend the Green Palm Inn to anyone visiting Savannah and would stay here again without hesitation. Reviewed by: Pokey from MA, review #2200 When: April 2008
I stayed in the Palmetto Suite, $159.00/night. Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, tv, refrigerator, soft and absorbent towels and fabulous shower! Diane, the Inn keeper is a delight. She has a keen attention to detail. Delicious hot breakfasts, wine and cheese in the late afternoons, a continuous supply of desserts. Very relaxing atmosphere, plenty of books and information about Savannah. Diane also is a fountain of information and recommendations of places to visit and to dine. If you sprain your ankle (as I did) and cannot walk, she can tell you where to buy a cane and has an endless supply of ice! THANK YOU DIANE! I HIGHLY recommend The Green Palm Inn.
