We spent a few nights in this hotel when we needed a nice place to relax for a few days. It was recommended by Peter on the message board. We like the resort and our room was spacious, comfortably furnished and had a lovely private outdoor terrace, but I felt we were too far from Palm Springs. It all felt very California suburban out there. Big streets, strip malls, lots of driving. We spent two nights there and never even did the drive into Palm Springs. We did a couple of lovely hikes right from the hotel, out along a water canal. The resort is huge, and is nicely spread out with the rooms on one level, arranged around gardens and pools. It felt very private and the gardens were beautiful. So, if you want golf and swimming - this is the place. If you want to be in town, try somewhere else.
