Great Hotel, immediately across from the San Diego Conference Center

I stayed at the Omni San Diego during a conference. Surprise Surprise - it rained one day! :) Who knew it rained in San Diego! Regardless, the hotel was lovely. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, nice view from my room of the harbor and the convention center.

The Omni is definitely more of a conference hotel. The pool is small, but pleasant. And the hotel is, I believe, the closest hotel to the conference center. It's directly across the street and takes no time to walk there.

In the hotel there is a McCormick and Schmick's - a decent seafood chain. Also, across the street is a little fish taco place called 'Tin Fish' which I highly recommend.

All and all, very centrally-located, professionally-managed hotel. I would stay there again for a conference with no hesitation.
