Nice hotel out of the hustle and bustle but still convenient. Expensive parking fee.

This is an refurbished old office building and it is very nicely done. The common areas are very pretty. The service is extremely attentive.

The room was actually quite good size with a nice bathroom and very nice shampoos, etc. The television had a lot of channel choices and there was a nice setup of in-room coffee/tea and fluffy bathrobes. The room also had a safe and umbrella (which came in quite handy this weekend!) Although we did not use it, there was an in-house fitness center.

It is located in the Financial District which hustles during the day but pretty much closes down at night. If you're looking to be right at the doorstep of everything, this may not be it, but it is close to many, many things - probably more so than if you were situated directly in, say, Union Square. It is just a few blocks to the beautifully new refurbished Ferry Building with great restaurants and shopping. It is one block from China Town. It is just a couple blocks to the heart of Union Square and the streets you would walk on have plenty of shopping of their own. It is very close to the Metreon entertainment center.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation and recommend it highly. Only true negative was a ridiculous price of $45 to park the car for one night.
