Great little hotel, great location, price is right!

This hotel is a best find in Manhattan. Located on the Upper West Side, it is in close proximity to shopping, Central Park, and oodles of good restaurants, in a safe and fashionable neighborhood.

We stayed in their smallest room, which contained two double beds, 42" flat screen TV, desk/chair, night table, coat closet, fully equipped bathroom, and a nice view. The rooms (and bathrooms) were immaculate, decorated in a minimalist, modern, sleek, clean style. The beds were comfortable, soft pillows, fluffy towels in the bathroom. Front desk included a very helpful concierge. There is a fitness center on the premises, along with two restaurants.

Our nightly rate was $135; this was a weeknight rate. It's a little more on weekends. There are many upgrades available, too. On The Ave offers all kinds of promotions and package deals. We did not use it, but the only down side to me was that if we wanted Wi-Fi, it was an additional $12.95 per night.

If you are looking for a really nice place to lay your head in a nice neighborhood in NYC, and don't want to spend a fortune for a room, this is the place for you. I would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommended.
