Small roadside cafe serving good food. Nice outdoor patio dining area.

The cafe is in a good location, along the main road to the ocean and next to intriguing plant nursery grounds with garden art.

Marta and I stopped here for lunch on our way home from the beach back to Paso Robles. There are a couple of small dining rooms inside the cafe, in addition to the outdoor dining patio.

The menu has a variety of vegetarian and seafood options; I had a good-sized Shrimp Louis salad and Marta had a Cobb salad. The greens were crisp and fresh, and there were plenty of shrimp.

Service was initially slow, but once our server took our order she returned promptly with the drinks and the salads soon followed. Lunch was a reasonable $25 for two.
