A great Italian restaurant right in the heart of Healdsburg, CA.

We ate here at the recommendation of several locals who live in Healsburg. It was a great choice.

The restaurant is very clean and sleek inside, with dark wood paneling. The service was fine, not overly attentive, but providing what we needed. We started with fritto misto($11). When this was delivered and I saw what I huge portion it was, I quickly cancelled my entree and decided to share with my husband. The fritto misto included calamari, shrimp, green beans, and cauliflower. The breading was nice and light, and it was accompanied by a lemon aioli sauce. This easily could have been my meal for the evening.

We each had a salad next. My husband had the caprese ($11), which included heirloom tomatoes and mozzerella. It was good, but nothing special. My salad was outstanding. It was called barbabietola. It was roasted red and yellow beets, valencia organges, and goat cheese ($10). For our entree, we shared fettucini con Bolognese ($18). The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very flavorful.

We split a dessert of chocolate torte with vanilla bean ice cream ($10), which was a nice, rich torte, like a flourless chocolate cake. We each had a glass of wine, and our total with tax was $81.08.

I thought this restaurant was very reasonably priced, with good quality food. I would look forward to visiting again.
