Ceviche, photo by Amy

I was torn between eating here and walking on - the menu looked interesting, they had several seviche options, but the driving music and aggressively chic vibe put me off. Food won out.

Most of the dishes are meant for sharing, though our waitress said the tacos are often more of a main course. We ordered a ceviche, crab and shrimp empanadas, and a special pork taco dish. The ceviche was perfectly "cooked" in the tangy juices, with lots of crunchy vegetables and herbs. I wasn't wild about the empanadas, something about the filling tasted a bit off to me, although my husband loved them. The taco special was a large serving of falling-apart nicely seasoned pork, served with cabbage, pico de gallo, black beans and tortillas - a some fiendishly spicy and addictive habanero sauce.

We enjoyed our meal, there's an attractive outdoor patio with heat lamps, and some amusing people-watching.
