Beer garden - yes; restaurant - no.

The food was actually okay, but the ambiance was definitely beer garden and the service was a bit amateurish. The salad dressing, though, was fabulous! A dill-sour cream concoction that doesn't sound so hot but which we all loved and were trying to figure out the contents of. Also, the pretzels that come warm to the table with a thick mustard are great!!

Two people had a gumbo that they said was fine. Not overly exciting but good. There was one salmon that was tasty but nothing special. Another person had schnitzel and said it was fine.

There were a lot of birthday parties taking place with singing and free desserts. There was also an "oompah" band going which was fun and actually really helped the experience. When they took their breaks it was much too quiet as the room is huge and open.
