In the heart of Boston's Little Italy (North End) this small trattoria was warm & welcoming on a cold November evening.

On a cold Sunday night late in November 2011 we strolled down Hanover St, North End with it's multitude of Italian restaurants. Panza looked warm & cozy, with a menu offering traditional Italian cuisine.

We shared a tasty antipasto, then my husband had a hearty lasagne and I had one of the 3 daily specials - a ravioli with pesto & goat's cheese (see picture).

The dessert menu wasn't very tempting, but that didn't matter as we'd already checked out a pastry shop a few doors down earlier & picked up some treats to take back to our hotel.

Dinner, including a couple of glasses of wine, was around $50 or two.
