Spicy Combination Plate, photo by Amy

A pleasant place with good Southwestern food. Probably a 20 minute drive from Santa Fe.

I loved being able to get excellent posole! I had the Combinación Picante, which was medium-spicy, with good pork adovada and cheese enchilada. The "tamale" was not served in the husk, but it was tasty enough. Other dishes were also making my companions happy. I'm usually leery of places with their own gift shop, but I enjoyed the meal and did find myself buying a bottle of the adovada sauce to take home. There's a pretty glassed-in dining room and a really lovely outdoor patio for eating outdoors in good weather.
