4bed/3bath house on St. George Island, Florida

Location

Beach front. About half way to the Plantation from the center of the island.

Nearby Amenities

Probably could walk, but a long walk.

The House/Apartment

Three Bedrroms on the main floor are okay but the downstairs sleeping area is awful and moldy.

There is a sunroom off the living room on the main floor but the AC doesn't work so it is unbelievably hot out there.

Garden

The beach is great, right there.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Furniture is all okay, comfortable and not very old.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bedrooms were all fine.

Kitchen

Kitchen is on the small side but not terrible.

Problems or Bonuses

We had two bad surprises:

The downstairs room is just NOT for adults. It is smelly from mold and old wood. There are two bunk beds in a very small space off of a den type area with a futon couch.
And the sunroom having no AC is a real bummer.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Treated very well; they switched us to a different, much nicer, house at no extra charge after we complained about the problems. You can find our review for the second house here: Cool Change

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

It would be OK to stay there with only six people. Or maybe with kids sleeping on the couch. Downstairs just smells too bad.
