2bed/3bath condominium in Crosslake, Minnesota
May 31-June 3, 2007, 3 nights
The condominium development is right along the main street in Crosslake, but also has peaceful lake frontage.
One could take a long walk to stores or restaurants, or a very short drive.
The condominium (actually one of about four duplexes) is fairly new and very clean. There is a large utility room with washer and dryer, a small bedroom with bath, large kitchen with bar seating for four, dining table, living area, master bedroom with walk in closet, and bathroom with spa tub. Upstairs is a loft with 2 queen sized beds (room for more), bath with shower, pool table and card table.
There is a small deck/patio out back, with a table and four chairs, a chaise lounge and a gas grill. Nearby is a short path, that first goes to a seating area by a fire pit, then down to the small sandy beach by the lake. There is a also a rec building with indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and exercise equipment. There is also playground equipment on site.
The furniture was nice and in good shape. The dining room table can seat eight, with bar seating also for four.
Comfortable beds, nice rooms, three baths.
The kitchen is lovely with granite counter tops. We didn't cook but there were lots of new dishes, a coffee maker, large stainless side by side fridge, etc.
Problems or Bonuses
I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I have relatives in this area, and for years I've seen "big city prices" for places of very low quality. This condo development is absolutely a treat!
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
If you have reason to be in the Crosslake, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes area, this it the place to stay.
