2bed/1bath house in Sonoma, California WhenJune 2009, weekend ReviewWe rented this property in order to attend a family wedding. Although this is advertised as a four bedroom, two bath, it is actually two homes with a shared backyard, that can be rented together or separately. The home we rented was the "green house." The master bedroom was a good size with lots of closet space and a French door leading to a small patio in the backyard. The other bedroom is smaller, but with lots of shelves, a small desk and another French door leading to the backyard. The bathroom connects both bedrooms and is a good size with a large shower, lots of light and another door leading to the yard. The living room is comfortable with a flat screen TV and stereo system, fireplace and comfortable furniture. The open kitchen with all new appliances and breakfast bar also had a buffet area and dining area. Right off the eating area was a fully furnished outdoor porch, which we used as another outdoor room. The backyard has a small barbecue and outdoor furniture and a grassy area that was shared by the second house, the "red house." The "red house", which was rented by another family member, also contained two bedrooms/one bath, living room, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck with barbecue, and garage. Each home is tastefully decorated, in a quiet neighborhood and five minutes away from downtown Sonoma. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
