Location

The apartment is located in Noe Valley, near the corner of Castro and 24th.

Nearby Amenities

There's a great Italian deli less than a block away, a Whole Food within several blocks. There are a lot of good restaurants and shops in the neighborhood.

The House/Apartment

The apartment is on the ground floor, a new upgrade to a lovely, old building. The apartment is small, but the space is really efficiently used. You walk into a small living/dining area, then pass through the galley kitchen (past the laundry area). At the back of the apartment are two bathrooms, two closet/dressing areas, and two bedrooms.

Garden

There is a lovely back garden that is shared with the owner.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture is a mix of modern and antiques. Everything is in good shape and the apartment was spotless. Seating in the living area is limited, but there are dining room chairs right there to supplement.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The two bedrooms have lovely, comfortable beds with great linens and lots of pillows. The sofa bed in the living room is comfortable. The bathrooms are modern, one has a big shower, the other a huge tub. The dressing areas have closet space, shelves and large mirrors.

Kitchen

The kitchen appliances are high end, and the dishes and pots and pans were plentiful.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The landlord lives upstairs and he was very helpful and gracious. The VRBO listing very accurately represents the apartment.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I will definitely stay here again! The public transportation available in the neighborhood puts you downtown really quickly.

Things to do in this area

Two great restaurants within walking distance were : La Ciccia (Sardinian) and Contigo (Spanish/Catalan).
