Review 5643: Vacasa Rentals, Rockaway Beach Villa

Review by VacationLady from Idaho

6bed/3bath house in Rockaway Beach, Oregon

Oregon Coast, 10 Days

Right on Rockaway Beach a short 10 minute max walk to shops and restaurants in town.

Nearby Amenities

Ten minute walk to shops, although I can't remember names off hand!

The House/Apartment

The home is quite large and has been kept up really nice! The kitchen and bathrooms all had granite counter-tops. For the size of the home it would have been nice to have at least one more bathroom though! The chandelier in the dining room sees slightly out of place. The home has large windows that provide great views of the ocean. Since there was a small creek on one side of the property and ocean on the other this property feels quite private! Here is a link to pictures of the property.

There is a hot tub large enough to fit five adults comfortably. The home is oceanfront! The beach is beautiful and sandy! The house is also located next to a small creek that provides for extra privacy. The family room has nice comfy leather coaches. I just wasn't crazy about the dining room decorations, but at least it was clean.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The home was kept in tip top shape! There were new TVs in the rooms, furnishings also seemed quite new.

Some of the beds need better mattresses. The bedrooms were quite nice and plenty of them. There were only three bathrooms in a home that sleeps up to 21 so one more would have been nice, however they all were in impeccable conditions and the master had a jacuzzi tub!

The kitchen was great! Brand new appliances and granite counter-tops easy to cook in once you started to remember where things were ... which is always a challenge when staying in a rental!

Problems or Bonuses

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The staff at Vacasa was very easy and friendly to work with. Our trip went by without any bumps.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would recommend this location for a family reunion getaway or a small wedding! It has plenty of room and places to sleep!

Things to do in this area

We kept to the property for the most part, but when we did venture out we stopped by the Nahalem Bay Winery! The grounds were very beautiful and the staff was super nice. They have a summer concert series that I would like to try to catch next time. My boyfriend and a I also took a day with Kayak Tillamook to go kayaking. Marc the owner was super friendly. I would recommend spending a day kayaking if you are feeling adventurous!
