As noted elsewhere on this site, the Omao Cottage is a wonderful home situated in a private setting that affords its visitors the privacy amidst paradise that makes for great memories. The home itself is well maintained and very livable. We especially enjoyed sunning on the back porch which itself overlooks a "Jurrasic Park" like setting.

The downside to our visit was twofold. Despite having called the agency representative early in our visit, we had to endure the smell of rotting food and resulting stopped-up sink because of a malfunction in the garbage disposal unit. No repair was undertaken for a span of four or five days. Hoefully it is fixed now.

The second issue relates to the agency as well. The morning of our scheduled check-out (which is 10:00 am as per the rental agreement), we were quite surprised to find that the lawn service crew was in our midst at about 7:30 am. Though I am certainly a fan of a nice lawn, and enjoyed the well manicured surroundings at Omao Cottage, our hope for a romantic morning ahead of our checkout time was erased as we substituted the sounds of cows mooing and roosters crowing with lawnmowers, blowers and rakes through the open windows. So much for for our last morning at an otherwise idyllic home...
